As a guest buddy, you will have the privilege of escorting one of our guests for the evening. You will serve as their guide and friend. You will eat, dance, karaoke, and have the best time together!

There are a few things every volunteer for a Night to Shine Prom must do.
1) Complete an application.
2) Have a background check completed.
3) Attend orientation.
4) Commit fully to being the hands and feet of God as you serve our guests as a volunteer.

There will be multiple opportunities for volunteers to attend an orientation. All volunteers are required to attend an orientation. Please note the times listed below and block your calendar to attend one of the orientations.
January 25, 2020 10 AM - 12 PM
January 26, 2020 12 PM - 2 PM
January 28, 2020 7 PM - 9 PM
Orientation will be held at Grace at Fort Clarke located at 9325 W Newberry Rd.
All volunteers must have an up to date background check that has been completed by Grace. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please email Lauren at NTSVolunteers@graceFL.org
A link to the background check instructions can be found below. As background checks have become our largest expense, we will be requesting a $10 donation to be brought to orientation.
Unless otherwise indicated, all parts of this application must be completed.

1. Is Night to Shine a FREE event?
YES!! Because Night to Shine is sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation and our generous sponsors, we are able to offer this prom night experience free of charge to our guests!! If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or making a donation click here.
2. What should I wear?
Most of our guests will wear semi-formal or formal attire. Ladies will most likely be in dresses, while men will most likely be in dress pants and a shirt. Renting a tux is not necessary, but you may do so if you wish. We will provide the boutonnieres and corsages!!
3. Can guests be dropped off? Or do I need to stay with them?
Guests can be dropped off! Many will choose to drop off guests, enjoy an evening away, and return to pick them up at 9:00pm.Others will choose to enjoy the caregiver room on site.Some may choose to remain by the guest's side all evening.
4. How does the "buddy" system work?
Each guest will be paired with a volunteer "buddy" as soon as they arrive and will spend the remainder of the evening with them. Their "buddy" will serve as a guide and friend throughout the night. The volunteer will help guide the guest, assist with dinner, and of course be an excellent dancing partner!
5. Is dinner provided?
Yes!! A full dinner will be provided for all of our GUESTS - drinks + cupcakes too!Appetizers and dessert will be provided to parents and caregivers who choose to join us in the Caregiver Room.
